FDCI joins hands with Italian Trade Commission (ITA) to bring exclusive Italian brand offerings to India

Several luxury Italian brands such as Leu-Locati, renowned for their exclusivity will be showcased at the ITA pavilion, this Amazon India Fashion Week in association with Maybelline New York Spring Summer ’17. The upcoming season will be held at the NSIC grounds, Okhla from October 12-16, 2016.

Their bags have adorned numerous Royal Personalities like Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Caroline of Monaco, Queen Marie Jose of Italy, Crown Princess Masako of Japan & Grace Kelly of Monaco etc. and I can go on with the names alike, which goes on to prove the exquisite and intricate craftsmanship with which these bags are made” quotes Dr. Francesco Pensabene, Italian Trade Commissioner of the Embassy of Italy in Delhi and Coordinator of Italian Trade Commission Offices in India.

A 12-Hour show, has been conceptualised and a wall inside the pavilion will be dedicated for the same. Daniele Fedi and Luci Serlenga have curated the collection for the 12-Hour show themselves, which has been brought by MICAM, Assocalzaturifici & City of Milan to AIFW SS ’17. The show will showcase the importance of every pair of shoe, lying idle in one’s wardrobe and the distinction each pair holds, if it is worn according to the hours of the day.
