Resorts Cotai Strip Macao hosted a gala dinner in New Delhi on July 21, 2016, to
introduce the newest crown in the Resorts’ portfolio – The Parisian Macao which
is due to open in mid-September 2016. In
addition invited guests were also treated to some highlights of the “Summer of
Entertainment” campaign showcasing the upcoming theatrical shows to launch at
the integrated resorts over summer, for example Shrek The Musical; Blue Man
Group; Po’s Kung Fu Feast, Character Breakfast with DreamWorks All-Stars and
Planet J. Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao includes six luxury and family-style
hotels and resorts including The Venetian Macao; Conrad Macao, Cotai Central;
Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central; Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central;
Four Seasons Hotel Macao, Cotai Strip; and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central. The
event is a part of an international roadshow visiting 11 cities throughout
mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and India; guests included key
travel and MICE industry partners, wholesalers and media friends.
Throughout
the night guests enjoyed a variety of entertainment to highlight the diversity
of entertainment on offer at the integrated resort. Performances included singing gondoliers from
The Venetian Macao’s signature Streetmosphere entertainment; in addition to a
Parisian-themedmagic performance act Soul Mystique from Australia’s Got Talent TV
show and a French-themed speed painting act.
However,
a spectacular French-themed video presentation about The Parisian Macao which
is due to open in mid-September was the highlight of the event and guests were
given a preview into what the resort will offer when it opens.The Parisian-themed
resort will have approximately 3,000 guestrooms and suites, 150 luxury and
lifestyle duty-free retail shops, world-renowned restaurants and ahalf-scale authentic recreation of the famed Eiffel
Tower that sits majestically at the hotel’s entrance. The Parisian Macao will
also feature over 5,200 sqm meeting spaces, outdoor water park, spa and health
club. Guests will also be able to enjoy further
facilities of Sands Resorts via a linked walkway.
Moreover,
the roadshow introduced the upcoming entertainment that Sands Resorts offersincluding
the interactive DreamWorks Experiencesuch as Po’s Kung Fu Feast, Character
Breakfast with DreamWorks All-Stars andthe first ever player-centric-game theme
park Planet J (openingin the second half of 2016).In summer, The Venetian
Theatre will host several theatrical and entertainment shows includinga Broadway
style theatre showShrek The Musical and the world-renowned showBlue Man Group.

musical is yet another international show that Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao will
be presenting during the summer. SHREK THE MUSICAL will be playing at The
Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Macao for 21 performances only, from July 22
to Aug. 7, 2016.
Blue Man Group
With comedy, theatre, rock concert and a dance party
all rolled into one, BLUE MAN GROUP has been widely popular around the world
and has been performing to sell-out crowds in Las Vegas for many years. This
international entertainment phenomenon will be presented at the Venetian
Theatre at The Venetian Macao from Aug. 11 to 25, 2016, as part of its latest
world tour. This will be the first time for the BLUE MAN GROUP to perform in
Macao and audiences will be provided with a fully immersive audio visual
experience complete with electrifying music, sensational technology, a captivating
live and BLUE MAN GROUP’s signature interactive audience experiences.

Planet J
Planet J is the world’s first player-centric “Live-Action
Role-Play” theme park designed for players to immersethemselves in alternate
worlds where reality and fantasy become one. The park covers an area of over 100,000
square feet, and is set against the fantastical backdrop of the Magic Stone
Kingdom. Players are tasked with saving the kingdom from the evil Magic Stone
creatures and each player is accompanied by a personalised mobile device called
the “Magic Scroll” that connects with over 200 games. Parents and children aged
between 5years and 13 years can experience together an incredible fantasy world
that blends state-of-the-art technology with experiential storytelling. The
adventure doesn’t stop even when players leave, as the players’ progress will
be saved for them to pick up where they left off next time they visit Planet J will
officially open in the second half of 2016 at Sands Cotai Central.
