NYC SUNDAY BRUNCH MENU – 18th Oct, 2015 @ Radisson Blu Plaza, Mahipalpur

My experience with Sunday Brunch of NYC @Radisson Blu Plaza, Mahipalpur was awesome. Food is really eye catchy and mouth watering. Ambience is so good here. What I really liked- The salads and the soups. To recap what I specifically liked–Grilled Zucchini with Feta cheese and olives, Beetroot and Orange salad and Mexican bean salad. Among the meaty salads–Fish Roulade and Pistachio Chicken Mortadella. From the mezzo station, I relished Whole Wheat Pita, Babaganoush, Tabbouleh,Hummus, Marinated Olives. My favorite Vegetable Hakka Noodles and Tom Sum. Salad/raw food bar for the health conscious, Sushi bar, kebabs that change daily, freshly baked breads, pastas, fresh juices, stir-fries and grills.

The street food counter with Pav Bhaji, Papadi Chat, Golgappa, Khandvi and more is my second favorite.

Dessert lovers
I tried everything as I am a sweet lover but the spread was lavish with sweets from the bakery, and the Indian kitchens–Chocolate Walnut Pudding, New York Style Baked Cheese Cake, Tiramisu in Chocolate Cup, Raspberry Lychee Bavarois, Vanilla Mille Feuille (Egg Less), Fruit Pavlova, Passion Fruit Verrnie, Gulab Jamun, Kalakand (Sugar Free) and Moong Dal Ka Halwa.

Ended with fresh fruits and aromatic green tea!

Overall its a very special gourmet experience. Would love to visit this place frequently.

FOOD REVIEWS OF MAFIA CLUB and LOUNGE @Club Road Punjabi Bagh....

I just fell in love in with this place. The ambiance is so good very homely.Terrace is the best part of this lounge. The food is you can die for. Both veg and Non veg is finger-licking delicious. They have maintained there quality so well. The staff is very humble and polite. Service is very good. Appetizers are having many options you will fell in love with each bite. One of my favorite dish here is pasta. In main course Paneer Lababdar and Dal Makhani is super. Naanzza's are really good. Burgers and Pizzas is a great option too.

what a designer and cosy sitting place is this and the infrastructure, the lightnings and the aura is amazing  and definitely when it comes to such happening place the live bar and live DJ has to be mentioned serving some really innovative and nice mock-tails and cocktails.

This place is new hepp in Delhi. A place you can enjoy with your pals, family and relatives. The thing which is not to be missed is Hookahs you will get the royal feeling in mafia style trying those. The quotes written are my favorite too.

To conclude i must say  Amazing food, quick service, great hospitality but the best thing about Mafia is the rooftop seating arrangement. Loved the ambiance overall, but if possible, try to have your meals at terrace lounge to savour memorable experience.

FOOD REVIEWS THE GREAT KEBAB FACTORY @RADISSON BLU PLAZA MAHIPALPUR

I will rate this place 5 star in terms of food, service and well managed staff.  Awesome place. Great food and equally good service. Had good options for vegetarians as well. Parantha with Subz Galouti was the best part. Kababs are great. Though, main course is nice, I would love to have multiple rounds of Kababs.
Good options in desserts in the form of rabri jalebi, kulfi, Ballushahi.
Went there with my family and friends. Everyone appreciated the place for its ambience, food and service.

This  is one of the better restaurants in the Delhi in terms of food scenes serving amazing kebabs and awesome desserts. The interiors are nice and give the feeling of royalness with an open kitchen where the chefs are putting out succulent kebabs. The service was quite good.

The kebabs were great as usual...the mutton galouti kebabs were melt in your mouth and exploded with flavours...they went wonderfully well with the ulte tawa ka parantha...the south indian style prawns were fresh and crunchy....the chicken on bone was tender and flavorful as well....the burrah kebab with the cinnamon flavor was according to be trying too much....the fish tikka with the rosemary marinade was thankfully not overpowering with the rosemary flavour....they were brilliant.

The main course is equally mouth watering. The dal makhani was awesome, the mutton biryani was one of the best biryanis that i  had...the mutton was perfectly cooked and was nicely cut....the homemade chicken curry was well exactly like home...it was less on spices and high on flavors...the chicken was quite tender...

the stick kulfi was delectable...the jalebi was crisp and hot and tasted mouth watering with and awesome rabri...

What a feast....amazing kebas...equally delectable main course and sinful desserts..

The Great Kabab Factory

For guests looking for an authentic ethnic experience, The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi is a unique haven. Featuring Indian flavors cooked in the most authentic way, the restaurant offers an assortment of Biryanis, Kababs and unique Indian breads. Each day the award winning restaurant prepares six different enticing vegetarian and non vegetarian Kababs, curries, breads, and a biryani chosen from its large repository of recipes to offer a new culinary experience every day. Guests can enjoy unlimited portions at a fixed price in a comfortable environment.

The strength of The Great Kabab Factory is in the thousands of recipes that have been identified and perfected over the 12 years of its operation. The focus is on Indian grills, complex marinades and cooking methods that add flavour, distinction and a subtle style to the kababs. The raw materials are as varied as possible; giving an extra dimension of flavour to what is already an incredible taste experience.
These include scallops, prawns, pomfret, quail and lamb chops, each of which has a unique marinade associated with it. Other signature dishes include biryanis as well, subtly spiced and served in unique dishes, along with the comprehensive selection of Indian breads. Vegetarians are also extensively catered to; choices of kababs include aubergines, sweet potato, jackfruit, baby corn, and broccoli.

What makes this restaurant different from the hundreds (if not thousands) of other similar restaurants in Delhi?
The Great Kabab Factory offers a unique dining experience. Using recipes combining the ancient with the contemporary, TGKF brings delectable kababs from all over the Indian subcontinent to one table. At TGKF one can experience mouth-watering kababs prepared in seven different styles, roasted on the tandoor or on a singhri, shallow-fried in a tawa or a mahi tawa, deep-fried in a kadhai, steamed in pots or even grilled on a stone.

A Different Menu Every Day: A different menu is set for each day and guests are served unlimited servings of each dish, either vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Besides the signature kababs such as the Galauti and the Burrah, the meal comprises of daal factory, biryani, a selection of Indian breads and the best of seasonal vegetables and desserts.

450 types of Kababs – You cannot find that anywhere else: Our signature kababs have been created after a decade of extensive research and development. TGKF owns a recipe bank of over 450 kababs which include many closely guarded family recipes passed down through the ages. Various imitations have been created but none match the unique flavor and aromas of the original TGKF signature kababs.

Vegetarian Kababs: For the vegetarian clientele, our chefs have introduced kababs such as tandoori broccoli and subz galouti which are unique to the TGKF dining experience.

What is your signature item / dish that people keep coming back for – and can you describe this dish?
Galauti Kabab - One of the more delicate kebabs from Lucknow made of minced goat. Legend has it that the galauti kebab was created for an aging Nawab Wajid Ali Shah of Lucknow who lost his teeth, but not his passion for meat dishes. ‘Galawati’ means “melt in your mouth” and was perfect for the toothless

Nawab who continued savouring this until his last days. Traditionally, green papaya is used to make it tender. After being mixed with a few select herbs and spices (great chefs rarely reveal what they are exactly), the very finely ground meat is shaped into patties and fried in pure ghee until they are browned. The original recipe that brought many a smile on the Nawab’s face, albeit toothless, and many a sigh of satisfaction, is supposed to have more than 100 aromatic spices.

Other Popular Kababs are

Burrah kabab –

Burrah literally means “big” are succulent Lamb chops that are marinated over-night & taste of the warm flavors of garlic, cumin, nutmeg, and mace, balanced by the sharpness of vinegar and lemon.

Achaari Macchi –
Fish marinated with pickled spices may sound like a vivid combination, but our Master Indian Chef has taken a step in reviving this forgotten classical dish to cherish it to its heights.

The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson  Blu Plaza  Delhi received the recognition of being among the ‘Best of the Best’, restaurants for food, service, décor and attention to hygiene, having been selected from a group of 101 Best Restaurants of Delhi NCR,–Mail Today  2010.
