1981-1984       Assigned to the General Directorate of International Cooperation

1984                Promoted to Second Secretary

1984-1986       Assigned to the Undersecretary of International Economic Relations (Officer of the Undersecretary)

1986 – 1990    Posted to the Permanent Mission of the Argentine Republic to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva.

1987                Promoted to First Secretary

1990-1993       Assigned to the Directorate of Multilateral Economic Affairs

1991                Promoted to Counsellor


1993-1998       Posted to the Argentine Embassy to the United States of America in Washington DC.
