‘Service before Self’. Yes, that’s the motto of our Armed forces so is Imly’s when it comes to serving their guests. To pay homage to this brave attitude of the biggest volunteer army in the world, Mr. Varun Puri, Director of Imly hosted an event yesterday for our honourable veterans and families of armed forces personals.
The highlights of the event were flag hosting ceremony followed by an amazing patriotic performance delivered by ASHK and Delhi Hand Drummers during the event. Also, Varun Puri has unveiled the logo of his newly announced brand ‘Too Indian’ in Rajouri and CP during the event.
An exclusive occasion of fine luncheon and finer conversations was not only imbued with a sense of patriotism but was peppered with games, dance and music to enthrall the guest. Moreover, tri-color themed dishes like Paneer Tikka - Republic Way, Idli Republic Way, Tiranga Momos to name a few were served to the guests to uplift the spirit of the day among its patrons. The event was attended by Brigadier Ashok Malhotra, Wing Commander Hari Om Kalra, Sanjeev Bhatnagar, R.P Singh, Saloni, Ruchika Maidan, Piyush Kawatra, Gaurav Wasan, Prabhjot, Vaishali, Yash Malhotra, Ritanshu Aneja, and Shikha.
Commenting on this tribute, Varun Puri, Director of Imly said, ‘It’s been an honour for us to host this event for the people who put their brave front on the border to ensure we live peacefully and what’s better way to express the gratitude towards them than with serving our regional street food to them.’
Surjit Singh says, ‘We have received immense love from the people in the society since we have started this venture and that’s our way to give back to them. We hope to get support and strength from people so that we can take Imly to each and every possible location of India’.
The restaurant well-known for winning the hearts of Delhiites through not only food but philanthropic activities for the society is soon spreading its wings to other parts of Delhi and NCR Region with outlets coming up in Gurgaon, Connaught Place.
