His Excellency Archil Dzuliashvili Ambassador of Georgia to India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand & Maldives in exclusive conversation with Journalist Shikha Sharma.....



Archil Dzuliashvili was born in Tbilisi in 1970. In 1994 he graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Oriental Studies. In 1992-1994 he also studied at Damascus Arabian Institute of Syria. During his work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he underwent short-term introductory courses in Austria, Egypt, India, the Republic of Korea and Japan.
Since 1995 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has begun to work. He was Attaché at the Department of Asia, Africa, Australia and Oceania, Africa and Middle East. From 1998 he was appointed as the first secretary of the same department. Then, from 1999 to 2000 he was the head of the same department. From 2000 to 2003 he worked as Deputy Director of Asia, Africa, Australia and Oceania.
Since 2003, Archil Dzuliashvili has continued his activities in the Embassy of Georgia to the Consul in the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2004 to 2006 he worked at the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, deputy head / consul of the diplomatic mission.
In 2006 he was appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Eastern Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. He also served as Director of the Department of Global Relations.
In 2006, Archil Dzuliashvili was appointed to the Embassy of Georgia in the position of Georgia's Provincial Councilor in the State of Kuwait where he was appointed to establish the first Georgian Embassy in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). In 2007-2010 Archil Dzuliashvili continued to work as senior advisor to the same embassy. He was also tasked with fulfilling the functions of the Consul of the Embassy. Embassy of Georgia also accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, Oman's Sultanate and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2011 Archil Dzuliashvili was appointed as Georgia's Ambassador to Egypt and the Arab Republic of Syria. In 2012 he became the first Ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia and Libya (with residence in Cairo).
In 2011 Archil Dzuliashvili was granted the status of the first permanent observer of Georgia in the African Union, and in 2012 he was granted the status of First Permanent Representative in the League of Arab States (with residence in Cairo).
In 2016, Archil Dzuliashvili worked as an ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and was appointed to the Republic of India in the Republic of India, Thailand, Ayish). On July 24, 2017, Archil Dzuliashvili was appointed as Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Maldives (with residence in New Delhi).
Archil Dzuliashvili has a wife and three children.
He speaks English, Arabic and Russian languages
